Montres De Luxe Mens TH7004 Thunderbolt Black Dial Chronograph

Montres De Luxe is a young Italian watch brand deeply inspired by design created in the beautiful country of Italy which reflects in a playfulness and creative elegance that you only find in Italy. The Montres De Luxe TH7004 Black Dial Chronograph is part of the Thunderbolt collection which is based on the P47, an American WW2 fighter plane which assures an interesting combination of military heritage and Italian sense of fashion.

This chronograph features an automatic ETA 7750 movement which is the workhorse of Swiss made watch movements, as it is very reliable and durable. The stainless steel case is complemented by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal, which in combination with the Arabic numerals and round indices delivers excellent readability while at he same time displaying the day and date at 3 o’clock.

The case of this chronograph measures a popular 43 mm. Most timepieces today are over 40 mm in size, and quite a few even over 45mm. I even see a lot of women sporting such large timepieces on their wrists. I remember about 10 years ago, when I saw a young lady wearing a Submariner which is 40 mm in size, and back then I thought “oh my gosh, how can she wear such a big watch!?” Well, now, she could even wear a 44mm watch and would just fit the actual fashion trend of “big is beautiful“ when it comes to watches.

This chronograph comes with a black PVD bezel while there are several other options as well, including plain steel bezel, and while this case is made of hand polished steel, you can also chose from a PVD blackened case. This chronograph may be used for diving, as it features a screw back case and is waterproof to 330 feet.
