Incorporating elements of space exploration within their timepieces when possible, Fortis employs space age titanium in the construction of the impressive 42 mm case and bracelet, while contrasting soft black rubber accentuates the pushers and crown. The Andora Emotions is a day/date chronograph, powered by the impressive Valjoux 7750 with 25 jewels and 28,800 vibrations per minute. Its dial, bezel and bracelet clearly set it apart from other chronograph watches in the marketplace.
Andoras’ art, somewhat reminiscent of the Warhol era, boldly presents itself on the dial, bezel and bracelet. The dial’s dual sub chrono counters, are set against unique multi-eyed characters serving as their base, as well as a blue earth at 9. The multi-colored uni directional bezel beckons its wearer with a call to focus on the more positive emotions in life through words such as love, live, sing, and dance, as well as others. The unique artwork carries over to the bracelet in the form of hands displaying faces in their palms and the watch caseback conveys another inspirational message, reminding its wearer to “live your time and determine the content.”
In addition to being a work of art, the Fortis Andora Emotions chronograph watch features a sapphire crystal with dual sided anti-reflective coating, screw-down caseback, fold over deploying clasp and water resistance to 200 meters.
The Andora Emotions is limited to just 100 pieces worldwide. Gevril Group, the US agent for Fortis, has a small quantity of Andora Emotions limited edition watches available on a first come, first serve basis.
