Combining new and different materials with vibrant colors is all the rage in the watch world. The INK series by Haurex has both: the case is made from aluminum PVD, and it’s tinted a rich shade of blue – one of several colors available.
Leave it to the designers at Haurex to come up with a sports watch with this much personality! At 43 mm in diameter, the INK isn’t shy, but because of its aluminum construction, it is light. This combination of presence and comfort means you won’t want to take this watch off, whether you’re at the beach or rocking your favorite jeans and a T-shirt.
The spectacular blue sunray dial provides the perfect backdrop for the watch’s oversized dial elements, which unite to give the watch a cohesive, evenly weighted appearance anchored by a large triangular marker at 12, a magnifier over the date window at 3 and large numerals at 6 and 9. The markers, hands and numerals are all coated with luminous paint for good visibility, day or night.
Blue PVD coats the entire case, including the bezel and crown, and even extends to the bracelet, which features a fold-over, push-button clasp with safety fastener – essential for a diving-style watch. Another serious diving design element is the unidirectional rotating bezel, which can be used to track short periods of elapsed time.
The 43 mm case is water resistant to 100 feet and houses an accurate and durable Miyota quartz movement. The crystal is made of mineral glass. Both the crown and the caseback are screw-down for solid pressure resistance.
The INK is also available with a silicon strap for the ultimate in sport functionality.
