After winning two gold medals and one silver at the 2012 Olympic Games in London, American swimming champion Matt Grevers wasn’t ready to rest on his laurels. On Friday, November 30, 2012, Grevers set a new American record in the 100-yard backstroke with a winning time of 44.55 seconds at the AT&T Short Course Winter Nationals in Austin Texas.
