The massive multi-function dial with its five concentric scales is protected with an anti-reflective, scratch resistant sapphire crystal, while the precision, Swiss made 21 jewel ETA 2893-2 automatic movement is housed in a virtually impenetrable stainless steel case that is water resistant to an impressive 660 feet. With the addition of a GMT complication and two separate 24-hour scales, it is easy to track three different time zones at once. The superb Swiss movement is further enhanced with a fine timing device and an Incabloc shock absorber.
A stainless steel setting crown with the Fortis logo at 2 o’clock is used to adjust the time, while a second crown at 4 o’clock is used to preform slide rule calculations. There is even a conversion table engraved on the screw-down stainless steel case back that allows you to quickly convert Fahrenheit to Celsius.
This superb timing tool is produced in a strictly limited edition of 2012 pieces.
