Fortis, ever keen on perpetuating their tradition of incorporating any element of space exploration within their timepieces, employs space age titanium in the construction of the impressive 42 mm case and bracelet, while contrasting soft black rubber accentuates the pushers and crown.
Reminiscent of the Warhol Era
Andoras’ art, somewhat reminiscent of the Warhol era, boldly presents itself on the dial, bezel and bracelet. The dial’s dual sub chrono counters, are set against unique multi-eyed characters serving as their base, as well as a blue earth at the 9:00 position. The multi-colored uni directional bezel beckons its wearer with a call to focus on the more positive emotions in life through words such as “love,” “live,” “sing,” and “dance” as well as others. The unique artwork carries over to the bracelet in the form of hands displaying faces in their palms and the timepieces’ caseback conveys another inspirational message reminding its wearer to “live your time and determine the content.”
In addition to being a work of art, the Fortis Andora watch features a sapphire crystal with dual sided anti-reflective coating, screw-down caseback, fold over deploying clasp and water resistance to 200 meters.
The watch is limited to just 100 pieces worldwide.
